Job Summary
As a Mechanical Design Engineer in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, you may be tasked with: part and assembly 3D modeling, study and analysis, creating and documenting designs, assisting with prototype or production builds, preparing cost estimates and project schedules, presenting and demonstrating designs to key stakeholders and working collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required
- 2 years 3-D design experience required
- Experience sourcing components and working with vendors required
- Product development experience preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- Experience with automation equipment a plus
- Capable of working independently and as a team member
- Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
- Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Desire to work on a variety of projects
