As a Success Coach, you'll serve as a mentor, advocate, and guide for justice-involved youth. Drawing from your lived experience, you'll form meaningful relationships, provide steady support, and help youth reconnect with education, employment, and overall wellness as they navigate reentry and strive toward a more stable future.

As a Success Coach, you'll serve as a mentor, advocate, and guide for justice-involved youth. Drawing from your lived experience, you'll form meaningful relationships, provide steady support, and help youth reconnect with education, employment, and overall wellness as they navigate reentry and strive toward a more stable future.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trust and connection through consistent, authentic mentorship
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for each youth
- Maintain weekly contact with youth—minimum twice per week, including one in-person interaction
- Support access to services in education, job training, housing, healthcare, and legal aid
- Accompany youth to important appointments (e.g., court dates, school meetings, job interviews)
- Document all interactions, goals, and progress in a timely and organized manner
- Assist with tangible needs such as transportation, hygiene supplies, and food
- Distribute participation incentives to support engagement and consistency
- Facilitate family engagement and help build supportive networks for youth
Required
- Lived experience with the justice system
- Minimum 1 year working with youth or in community-based programs
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage up to 10 active youth cases
- Passion for mentorship, empowerment, and community-driven change
- Familiarity with Los Angeles County systems (DYD, Probation, community providers)
- Experience in peer mentoring or reentry navigation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
