Job Type: 6-Month Contract with Potential for Full-Time Conversion

We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and innovation, and we are looking for a 6-month contract Accounts Payable Specialist with the potential for full-time conversion to support our finance team in the Griffin, GA office.
Position Overview:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be critical in managing the company’s accounts payable process during the transition of AP from another company. Based on performance and the success of the transition, this position has the potential to evolve into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices and expense reports in a timely manner
- Manage accounts payable for multiple bank accounts and various restaurant locations within a growth-oriented, capital-intensive business
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Understand intercompany transactions and equity allocations and record them accurately
- Assist with learning equity investment accounting as it relates to AP
- Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions
- Respond to vendor inquiries and manage relationships with suppliers
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and efficiency
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in accounts payable, particularly in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with managing accounts for multiple restaurant locations and real estate entities
- Understanding of intercompany accounting and equity transactions
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new accounting concepts, including equity investment accounting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
