Position: AP Specialist
Location: Marietta, GA 30008
Duration: 4 Month contract to hire, looking to convert fulltime!
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Time : M-F 8am-5pm On site
Must-Haves:
- Healthcare AP Experience
- High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related accounting or fiscal experience; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Accounting Technician Trainee (FIT019) or position equivalent.
Please Note
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Experience in supporting management
Day-to-Day:
Under direct supervision, performs a wide range of paraprofessional accounting and fiscal control functions, such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll preparation, budget monitoring, or related general accounting processes. May research, investigate, and/or resolve any accounting or budget issues. Provides information and assistance to internal and external customers. Other duties as assigned, such as travel expense reports, switchboard, and loading dock coverage. This position works to promote the health and safety of the residents of Cobb and Douglas Counties.
Compensation:
$16/hr to $19/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
