What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student-Athlete Success Advisor position at apsu?
We are in search of an Academic Advisor for certain sport teams as assigned. Specifically assisting in assessing student-athlete course performance, advising student athletes each semester during the pre-registration process by monitoring their class schedules for graduate requirements and special athletic needs. Also responsible to help students understand University and degree requirements and develop responsible approach to academic planning, and assisting student athletes in selecting and declaring an academic major.Austin Peay State University is a four-year public, doctoral-level university, with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence. The University has an enrollment of over 10,000 students and is located in Clarksville, Tennessee, a community of an estimated 180,000 people located approximately 40 miles northwest of Nashville, TN.
