What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position at Aqua-Tech Laboratories, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist walk-in clients at the front desk, including receiving water samples utilizing a strict protocol.
- Answer phones, take messages, and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department.
- Complete sales transactions for clients.
- Assist with client requests.
- Assist with data entry and scheduling.
- Assist with filing paperwork.
- Maintain document filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Develop an understanding of the laboratory process and required paperwork.
- Ensure front office supplies are stocked for client and staff needs.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. (Especially Outlook, Calendar, and Excel)
- Proficient in a client-facing role. (In-person, on the phone, and electronically)
- Must have strong written and communication skills with clients and staff.
- Experience entering data into a database or computer software.
- High commitment to detail and a positive attitude.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Keep an orderly and sanitary work environment.
- Ability to work as a team and autonomously.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Follow safety guidelines.
- Complete a background check.
