">The Environmental Operations Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable practices at Glacier Bay Lodge, ensuring our operations meet the highest environmental standards. This role will work closely with our Environmental Compliance team and Management to implement the Environmental Management program.
">Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain knowledge of company, federal, and state environmental regulations and policies. ">
- Apply environmental regulations and policies to Glacier Bay Lodge operations, ensuring compliance with EMS standards. ">
- Coordinate waste prevention and reduction initiatives, recycling programs, energy conservation efforts, and air quality improvements. ">
- Conduct weekly inspections of recycling areas and document results. ">
- Assist with training programs and documentation for EMS and other environmental initiatives. ">
- Participate in internal audits for Glacier Bay Lodge within Glacier Bay National Park. ">
Requirements and Qualifications

- Prior administrative experience preferred. ">
- Strong understanding of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. ">
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. ">
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. ">
- Frequent performance of repetitive motions with hands and/or arms. ">
- College coursework or related experience in environmental studies recommended. ">
