Inventory Logistics Specialist

Position Overview

Step into the dynamic world of inventory management as our new Inventory Logistics Specialist. Embrace the responsibility of organizing and tracking inventory levels, as well as ensuring the quality and timely dispatch of products from our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, count, and manage all incoming and outgoing inventory efficiently.
• Prepare customer orders accurately, load them on pallets, and transport these to the designated packing areas.
• Receive daily freight, tally the items, and effectively log these into our computer systems.
• Organize materials onto storage shelves or bins, based on an assigned sequence or product code.
• Investigate and settle any disputes related to freight claims.
• Periodically update the product locations within our inventory systems.
• Conduce meticulous and regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Handle product returns with precision and process them correctly.
• Manage and respond efficiently to work queues.
• Skilfully load or unload shipments to meet operational demands.
• Operate company machinery with utmost professionalism and safety.
• Contribute to general warehouse cleanliness and maintenance, taking charge of sweeping, trash removal, and adhering to sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Accredited training and certification as a material handler for operating lift equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks.
• Prior experience conducting cycle counts and handling RF scanners is a plus.
• Excellent comprehension skills for reading and executing manual instructions.
• Exemplary communication skills with peers and clients alike.
• Sound mathematical abilities, particularly in handling basic calculations and measurement conversions.
• Physical stamina and health suitable for warehouse work.
• Ability to work swiftly to meet operational deadlines.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are advantageous.
• Capability to frequently lift up to, and sometimes exceeding, 75 pounds.
• Proficiency with data management systems for data entry and retrieval is essential.
