Arapahoe Community College is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement & Travel Card Program Coordinator to support critical purchasing operations, ensure compliance with state regulations, and manage key financial programs that directly support faculty, staff, and students.
In this role, you’ll evaluate and process purchase requests in alignment with state procurement rules and institutional policies, manage both formal and informal solicitations, and serve as a key liaison between internal departments and vendors. You’ll oversee the college’s travel card program, including training, audits, and issue resolution, and assist with the procurement card (Pcard) program and Official Functions processing. This position also involves reconciling discrepancies in purchasing documents, maintaining audit-ready records, preparing required reports, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to improve procurement processes and ensure compliance. Your ability to interpret regulations, build internal relationships, and leverage state price agreements will help drive efficient, value-added purchasing across campus.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other closely related field OR four years of purchasing, accounting, or business processes experience may substitute for the required degree but will not count towards the experience requirement below.
- Two years of professional purchasing experience.
- Higher education experience or experience managing programs requiring detailed analysis.
- Familiarity with the State of Colorado Procurement and Fiscal Rules.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills combined with excellent customer service.
- Five years of experience working in higher education purchasing.
- Experience managing fleet cards, purchasing cards, corporate purchasing, or credit cards.
- Experience using Banner and CORE.
- Progressive professional experience in procurement, accounting or other business related field that demonstrates progressively increasing professional level work.
