We are seeking a results-driven Salesforce Email Marketing Specialist with strong UX (User Experience) skills to join our marketing team at Arbonne. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize personalized, automated, multi-touch email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring an exceptional user experience across all touchpoints. You’ll play a key role in driving customer engagement, retention, and conversion through strategic email marketing and data-driven design. Additionally, you will assist in developing tools, processes, and frameworks to deliver cutting-edge, personalized consumer journeys and marketing automations.
You will work within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform to assist with the coding, QA, scheduling, and analysis of email campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have a background with fast-moving companies and extensive email marketing experience with a passion for digital marketing through email and content.
What You'll be Doing
The Email Marketing Specialist will work within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and perform coding, QA, sending and analysis of several email campaigns per week along with campaign localizations and translations.
- Plan, build, test, and deploy email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, etc.)
- Responsible for deploying all SMS/MMS messages within SFMC Content Builder
- Collaborate with design, content, and product teams to create engaging, personalized email experiences that align with brand goals
- Responsible for building and deploying monthly re-occurring business builder emails
- Apply UX principles to optimize email layout, usability, and readability across devices and platforms
- Segment audiences and personalize content using data from Salesforce CRM
- Provide QA assistance to your email marketing colleagues with their campaigns
- Maintain email templates and ensure brand consistency and responsive design
- Monitor email deliverability, engagement metrics, and compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL and other email regulations
- Provide insights and recommendations based on campaign performance and customer behavior
- Stay up to date with Salesforce Marketing Cloud enhancements, email marketing trends, and UX best practices
- Create personalized, automated, multi-touch, targeted customer lifecycle email campaigns
- Execute the build of Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys (triggered workflows) using SFMC’s journey builder capabilities
- Create marketing emails using HTML/CSS and Content Builder using email marketing best practices.
- Build and maintain email lists, using a mix of data extensions, filters, and SQL queries
- Review daily email schedule in Wrike. Prioritize work.
- Measure and analyze email campaign performance metrics, develop reports and generate insights to continuously iterate and improve email performance.
- Perform end-to-end quality checks, ensure content accuracy, functioning links/landing pages, assessing segmentation, and produce campaigns in a timely manner.
- Create and analyze email consumer journeys and automations.

What You Need
- 3 years of experience in email marketing, with at least 2 years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Understanding of pulling lists and targeting SMS/MMS messages using SFMC
- Strong understanding of marketing automation, customer journeys, and segmentation strategies
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of AMP script, SQL Query, HTML/CSS & JavaScript, Marketing Cloud APIs and dynamic content
- Solid UX experience, particularly in designing email templates and campaigns with the user in mind
- Understanding of email marketing principles including CAN-SPAM and best practices
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Certification is considered an asset.
- Proficient with MS Office, Wrike, and similar tools.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for email design.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; also works well independently.
- Knowledge of additional Salesforce products (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
- Familiarity with mobile-first design and responsive frameworks.
- Direct selling, beauty or fashion industry experience a plus.
