What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Arbor Hills Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center?
- Report to the Environmental Services Director regarding the physical plant and the status of work in progress
- Perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner, checking maintenance log and tracking projects.
- Implement the maintenance program to ensure uninterrupted operation of the facility.
- Coordinate the repair of equipment or obtain job quotes for recommended repairs.
- Manage maintenance priorities, generate job assignments, order needed materials, supplies and parts.
- Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work, alterations, remodeling, minor construction and the checkout, installation and servicing of mechanical and electrical equipment and building systems.
- Maintain an inventory of parts and supplies to maximize the operational readiness of building systems and equipment with respect to the limitations of cost and regulations.
- Have knowledge of fire alarm and signal system. Manage the fire alarm system according to National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) criteria.
- Maintain all required documentation and audits of facility systems such as water temperatures and life safety drills.
- Maintain preventative maintenance program as required by Environmental Services Supervisor including monitoring the operation of all major facility systems such as HVAC.
- Provide maintenance program in accordance with Life Safety Code and DHHS regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of Maintenance Supervisor:
- High School Diploma or general equivalency is required
- 1 year of experience is preferred
- Experience in institutional maintenance is preferred
- Organization and management skills

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
