We are actively hiring an Inspector for our Yreka, CA division.

Duties include but are not limited to:
A Forest Technician performs inspections to identify vegetation maintenance to actively manage tree growth around power lines through pruning, removal, and other techniques to maintain safety and reliability of the electricity grid.
- Patrol distribution or transmission circuits and prescribe work to be performed.
- Communicate with the public and other external stakeholders, including listening to and understanding customer concerns.
- Navigate permit processes and address the concerns of specialists over public lands.
Qualifications
- Forest Technician I. Required to obtain ISA Arborist certification within six months.
- Forest Technician II. Minimum of two years arboricultural-related experience or a
combination of education and practical arboriculture experience. ISA Arborist
certification.
- Forest Technician III. Minimum of three years arboricultural-related experience or a combination of education and practical arboriculture experience. ISA Arborist and Utility Specialist certifications.
- Forest Technician IV. Minimum of three years arboricultural-related experience or a combination of education and practical arboriculture experience. ISA Arborist and Utility Specialist certifications, pesticide applicator license, and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification required.
Required Certifications:
- ISA Certified and ISA Utility Specialist Certified within 6 months
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience w/ Integrated Data Collection Software (Field Maps, OneVM, MapIt Fast, Work Studio, etc.)
