What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager position at ARC Dayton?
Our Mission: Since 1976, ARC has been empowering women to reclaim their lives and improve the welfare of their children and families.
Our Team: ARC Dayton is an innovative 13-bed residential treatment program. The program uses an integrated, multi-disciplinary, family-focused, strengths-based approach to comprehensive case management and treatment services that are gender and culturally competent to meet the needs of women and their families affected by substance use disorders.
Responsibilities of a Case Manager:
- Case management of assigned caseload
- Assessment, case planning, and weekly individual case management sessions
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups as scheduled
- Assist residents in securing safe, stable housing, securing benefits to which they are entitled, resume preparation and job searches, arranging transportation, and referrals to community providers
- Prepare Intake, Discharge, and Aftercare reports
- Maintain a safe, empowering environment for residents.
Qualifications as a Case Manager:
- Bachelor degree in Social Work or related field required. Or relevant work experience!
- Experience working with marginalized women and justice involved individuals a plus
