Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Counselor to support students' academic, social, and emotional well-being. The ideal candidate will provide guidance, counseling, and resources to help students navigate challenges and achieve success in school and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and social development
• Assist students in developing academic goals
• Identify and address behavioral issues, collaborating with teachers and parents/guardians
• Conduct crisis intervention and provide referrals to external resources when necessary
• Support students in conflict resolution, peer relationships, and decision-making
• Collaborate with school staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Master’s degree in School Counseling
• MD State certification/licensure as a School Counselor
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and faculty
