Job Summary
The Associate Principal of the Upper School will serve as a member of the Administrative Team of Immaculate Conception of Dardenne Catholic School under the direct supervision of the
Principal. The Associate Principal of the Upper School provides mission-driven leadership in collaboration with the Principal and Associate Principal of the Lower School.
- This is an 11-month position, July 15th - June 15th
- The position is exempt
Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities below are not exhaustive. The Principal may assign additional duties to support the mission of Immaculate Conception of Dardenne Catholic School.
Major Responsibilities and Duties
Mission Implementation
- Actively live and promote the school’s mission as part of “a community of one Spirit in Christ Jesus.”
- Uphold the Catholic Church’s mission per the Christian Witness statement and Gospel teachings.
- Attend School Board meetings bi-monthly.
Spiritual Leadership
- Participate in morning prayer with administration, teachers, and staff.
- Attend Mass regularly.
- Promote restorative practices through teacher, parent, and student education.
Teacher Development
- Evaluate teachers per the Archdiocesan Faculty Formation Program.
Student Affairs (Grades 4-8)
- Communicate behavioral expectations aligned with the mission and address discipline issues.
- Support faculty in classroom and hallway management.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, teachers, and students regarding discipline.
- Ensure a visible presence to uphold discipline and conduct.
- Prepare and log required discipline documentation.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be faith-filled practicing Catholic
- Minimum of 5 years teaching
- School leadership experience required
- Preferred - Administration/Supervision experience, Administration certification
