Job Mission:
The Market & Consumer Insight Manager reports to Global Director of Market & Consumer Insight and works closely with Animal and Pet marketing, commercial team, internal functional stakeholders, external market agencies and data intelligence providers to uncover and unlock insights translated into strategic thinking, innovation and thought leadership.
The successful candidate will focus primarily on designing and executing market analyses and customer research plans to generate intuitive, inspiring and actionable data-driven insights to ultimately fuel customer driven innovation, customer value and business impact.
He/She is responsible for utilizing multiples sources of secondary data as well as primary qualitative and quantitative research to summarize learnings on market trends, consumer/customer behaviors, industry sizing, competitive landscape that support ADM offerings value-propositions for growth opportunities.
The position acts as the voice of consumer and customer working collaboratively across multiple teams to support key marketing innovations and customer specific initiatives through timely communication, targeted insights, strategic storytelling for better customer engagement experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with external agencies to launch research in a timely manner with high level of professionalism and proficiency
- Oversees design and execute primary and secondary research from data providers according to best practice methodologies in support of business goals and objectives
- Leverage traditional and modern methods such as Social listening, Artificial Intelligence, Power BI to develop cost effective ways in uncovering trends from digital market channels
- Synthesize and report findings and recommendations through holistic and compelling story-led communications to internal & external customers
- Work with communication and marketing team to review external publication content for accuracy.
- Apply expertise in advanced analytics to generate key findings from underlying data
- Conduct market segment sizing and industry report sourcing to understand market dynamics and competitors' landscape for strategy planning.
- Display project management skills, organized skills with ability to multitask, shift priorities, adjust multiple demands and work in agility for actionable deliverables
- Self-directed with a strong sense of accountability, independence and comfortable interacting with strong presenting skills to leadership and customer
- Min. 6-8 years in market research, competitive intelligence, consumer/customer insights, including curation of insights from diverse data sets
- Bachelor's degree in animal/pet/food science, sensory & consumer science, market research, marketing, statistics, or business-related field required
- Experience in the b2b or b2c industries, with preference for animal and pet, food & beverage, specialty ingredients, flavor & fragrances, FMCG industry or market research agency
- Proficient knowledge in market intelligence database, statistical analysis, consumer research techniques and sensory methodologies know-how
- Familiarity with online research, digital platform and social media listening is an advantage
- Strong executional excellence with a highly collaborative mindset to drive shared results
- Great interpersonal bonding skills. Possess strong teamwork and team building skills.
- Strong story-telling, written, verbal and formal presentation skills including customer interaction
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills with Pivot Table as a plus
