What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Market Develop Mgr. position at Arclin?
Sr. Market Development Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Define FirePoint customer targets within the construction industry
- Builders, Architects, General Contractors, Structural Engineers, Framers and distribution (reps and dealers)
- Develop project pipeline of upcoming and active projects to quote, close and support
- Support continuing education goals within the architectural community to affect the specification and support of FirePoint within targeted Multifamily segments (townhomes, apartments, condos, etc.)
- Develop a strategy to define data needed from FirePoint to affect the adoption of our products to help insurance companies reengage in CA and lower premiums for safer construction methods
- Become an SME on fire resistant assemblies within Arclin and attend tradeshows and other marketing activities to offer expert guidance to partners, colleagues and customer targets
- Find and attend opportunities within partner organizations to spread FirePoint awareness
- Tradeshows, Framer organizations (CFCA, etc.), AWCI, WUI, etc.
- Develop relationships and do trainings for construction personnel as a value add, while visiting jobsites and gaining product awareness
- Maintain a high level of sales activity in order to execute the strategy in CA and other geography as agreed once onboarding is complete
Sr. Market Development Manager Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant years of experience
- 3 to 5 years' experience in the construction industry or adjacent market
- Experience with sales goals and developing and managing a pipeline
- Ability to utilize technology to develop and track projects (MS Suite, CRM, Excel, etc.)
- Good presentation skills – comfortable speaking to large groups (face-to-face and virtual)
- Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Good analytical and summarizing skills
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Some travel required – 50 %
