Position Overview :

Arcserve is seeking a dynamic and goal oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales Team. In this on-site position, the Inside Sales representative will play a key role in driving business opportunities within your assigned geography. As a leader and pioneer in data protection, backup, and disaster recovery solutions, Arcserve is dedicated to serving our customers and partners with the utmost dedication and expertise.

The Inside Sales Representative / Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving Arcserve's growth by identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, managing existing customer accounts, and supporting the broader sales team. This individual will be responsible for engaging with potential clients, understanding their needs, and promoting Arcserve's suite of data protection and disaster recovery solutions. Success requires a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology and sales.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting : Identify and engage potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and inbound inquiries.
  • Sales Support : Collaborate closely with sales leadership and field sales team to develop strategies for account growth, pipeline development, and sales execution.
  • Customer Engagement : Conduct initial discovery calls, present product demonstrations, and articulate the value proposition of Arcserve’s solutions to potential customers.
  • Account Management : Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers by understanding their needs, providing product updates, and cross-selling or upselling relevant solutions.
  • Pipeline Management : Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Market Intelligence : Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position Arcserve's offerings in the marketplace.
  • Quota Achievement : Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue goals of the company.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional activities, product launches, and campaigns.
  • Continuous Learning : Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay up to date with Arcserve’s product offerings, sales techniques, and industry developments

Qualifications :

  • Experience : 1-3 years of inside sales, business development, or related experience, preferably in the technology or software industry.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Must be proficient in English, additional languages, Spanish, Portuguese, and French are a plus.
  • Technical Acumen : Basic understanding of data protection, backup, and disaster recovery solutions; ability to quickly learn and articulate technical concepts.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers.
  • Sales Skills : Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing abilities; familiarity with sales processes and methodologies.
  • Customer-Centric : Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and building long-term relationships.
  • Self-Motivated : Highly driven, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player : Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Tools : Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
