Arcticom LLC), a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Account Executive for Alaska. This position is being added to help Arcticom develop new business in an ever changing tech environment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Selling Arcticom’s IT and Communications equipment to the Commercial, State and Local Government, and Federal Customers.
  • Managing a specific assigned customer Providing sales solutions to address their IT and communications needs.
  • Developing Service and Preventative maintenance agreements to address long term customer
  • Develop Product knowledge and technical understanding through a continuing training

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

  • 5 years experience selling in the communications and or Technical marketplace.
  • Excellent Computer Skills with a general knowledge of Sales and Training Software
  • Valid Alaska Drivers
  • Be able to maintain required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Working knowledge of communications systems with the ability to interface with the customers technical personnel and help provide technical support.
  • Must be physically capable of performing essential work
  • Must be able and available to travel as
  • Must have a good work ethic and a strong positive team

Preferred

  • Experience with Motorola P25, Smart Zone and Land mobile radio Systems
  • Fundamental knowledge of RF, wired and wireless communications systems, networking equipment, microwave signals and electronics testing.
  • Willingness to engage and learn new
  • Experience as a field
  • Posses excellent interpersonal, negotiations and communications

NECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
