Responsibilities
- Experience utilizing the electronic Reasonable Accommodation (RA) tracking system (EntelliTraN (ETK) RA), to manage the requests and provide reports.
- Senior Human Resources (HR)/Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) technician familiar with Government hiring practices.
- Experience processing reasonable accommodation requests for employees working in the Office of the Secretary and five other bureaus in the Department of Commerce (DOC).
- Experience advising employees, managers, and other customers on the applicable disability/EEO related laws and DOC procedures.
- Experience interacting with management and making recommendations on how requests should be addressed.
- Experience proposing effective means, methods, and modes (options) for accommodating qualified individuals with disabilities.
- Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) include federal EEO and disability laws and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) RA guidelines.
- Experience performing Personnel Action Reports (PAR) and processing for a myriad of purposes in the overall management of Departmental employees, including talent acquisition support, onboarding support, presentations, training, and related activities.
Qualifications
- Requires three (3) or more years of experience collecting, reviewing, and tracking data related to program analysis.
- Requires three (3) or more years of experience writing and editing documents such as reports, briefings, and presentations that incorporate relevant research and background information.
- Requires expert level experience utilizing Microsoft Office software (Access, Adobe, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Requires approximately eight (8) or more years of experience in related field with RA coding and processing and documenting processes and procedures.
