Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Expert - ETL and Tableau Specialist

Location: Hybrid / Preference for Candidates near D.C. Metro area with U.S.

Areeva is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Expert with a strong background in ETL processes and Tableau to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data solutions that drive key business decisions. You will develop efficient data pipelines, ensure system security, manage data warehouse systems, and automate configuration management tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain dashboards to visualize complex information, suggesting innovative approaches for presenting data, and researching how to best leverage additional data
• Design and maintain ETL workflows for processing data from various sources (structured, unstructured, semi-structured), suggesting approaches for cleansing data and automating future data flows
• Develop and manage dynamic Tableau dashboards and reports for actionable insights
• Extract, cleanse, load, and maintain data from structured and unstructured sources using AI tools such as Microsoft Syntex and/or through custom scripting
• Implement data quality checks, validation procedures, and document ETL processes, data mappings, and dependencies
• Automate configuration management processes using the latest tools and stay up-to-date with ETL technologies and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client challenges, prototype new ideas and technologies, and design, implement, schedule, test, and deploy innovative solutions
• Monitor and optimize the health, performance, and efficiency of data environments
• Apply a strong understanding of data engineering technologies and services, utilizing expertise in databases and various approaches to structuring and retrieving data

Qualifications

• Proven experience with ETL processes and Big Data systems
• Expertise in cloud platforms, especially AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of data pipeline management and architecture
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python
• Hands-on experience with data extraction using AI tools or custom scripting

Experience with Azure Synapse, Microsoft Syntex, and AWS Redshift is a significant advantage and a must have for this position.
