Position Overview :
The Estimator will play a critical role in preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial projects, including retail and healthcare facilities. This individual will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful bidding and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, scopes of work, and schedules.
- Collaborate with the preconstruction and project management teams to align estimates with project goals.
- Identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
