Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for Construction, Plumbing, and Electrical projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.
- Analyze project requirements and determine the most cost-effective methods and materials to use.
- Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys for various construction trades.
- Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive database of historical cost information for future reference.
- Understanding scopes of work, assisting in occasional site visits to assess project requirements and conditions, measuring/taking off and gathering data on buildings, and meeting subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely cost estimates to clients utilizing various quoting tools.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure estimates align with project objectives and constraints.
- Assist in providing discovery on RFPs and RFQs and submitting RFIs.
- Provide Superior Customer Experience in all tasks, internally and externally.
- Attend online and in-person vendor training courses to accumulate industry and product knowledge.
- Handling multiple assignments at once and having the ability to prioritize different tasks for various projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
- Able to pass a federal background check.
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- United States (Required)
- Associate's degree in Construction Management, Business, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar type of position.
