Arhaus is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to joing our growing HR Department! The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for building a strong talent pipeline for our company’s current and future retail staffing needs. In this role, you will be responsible for full cycle recruiting – identifying potential candidates, conducting initial screening interviews, managing recruiting communications and employee referrals, extending offers, and being a part of onboarding. In partnership with the talent acquisition team, you will execute innovative recruitment strategies and actively source passive talent to ensure we have the right employees in every location. This position is located onsite at our Corporate Office in Boston Heights, Ohio with a hybrid schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for meeting hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified individuals
- Full cycle recruiting for retail field employees – sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, facilitating offers and onboarding, all while ensuring candidates have a positive experience.
- Sourcing active and passive candidates using a variety of methods.
- Taking ownership of the candidate experience by creating and maintaining job postings
- Conduct interviews via telephone, video and in-person, as appropriate.
- Manage candidate information and flow in our Applicant Tracking System (UKG) and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each position’s requirements.
- Identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential hires in order to create a strong bench.
- Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals.
- Ensuring all screening, selecting, and hiring is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
- May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 yrs of recruiting experience in a high growth, fast-paced environment (either in-house or with an agency).
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) required.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Expertise leveraging various channels such as LinkedIn, use of Boolean, personal networks, blogs, forums, advertising, and creative sourcing methods to attract passive talent.
- Confidence using data to highlight challenges and roadblocks during recruiting life cycle.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both independently and collectively.
- Exceptional organization, time management, and customer service skills.
- Ability to keep relevant information confidential.
- Results-oriented with the ability to push self and others towards success.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 yrs of retail field recruiting experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, business administration, communications or other relevant field preferred. In lieu of degree, will consider at least four years of applicable experience.
- Experience with UKG/UltiPro strongly preferred.
