POSITION SUMMARY:
The Panel Builder works in our panel shop. This position supports the goals of the manufacturing departments by providing a diverse array of interrelated responsibilities.
FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
- Electrical assembly of control panels and related equipment including cables, harnesses, and motors
- Involved in, the layout and assembly of electrical systems and sub-systems and troubleshoots problems that arise on the floor and in electrical lab
- Reads and interprets work orders, line diagrams and schematics
- Communicates appropriate issues with Electrical Team immediately
- Ability to work multicultural team environment
- Ability to read basic electrical schematics
- UL 508A industrial panel building experience a plus
- Experience with PLC or DDC controls system, wiring and system knowledge a plus
- Other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION:
Electrical Degree from Technical College or University is a plus
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1-3 Years electrical Experience
Able to read and interpret schematics and wire lists
Experience in HVAC service is a plus
Must have power panel experience along with trouble shooting and testing systems
