Electrical Role Sign-On Bonus $500
Starting pay is $23.75 -$27 based on knowledge, skill, and ability of applicant. Annual review with opportunity for pay increase based on performance. Annual Bonus based on performance.
POSITION SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Panel Shop Team Leader , this position will be responsible for the construction of electrical control panels in a safe and timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Build electrical systems including , but not limited to control panels, control stations, and junction boxes .
Interpret data from electrical and mechanical diagrams and schematics .
Use electrical test equipment and perform final check on panels.
Run electrical wires in the most effective route to minimize wire used and for uniformity and neatness.
Regular attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide personal tools according to the department tool list.
Perform set-up, material handling duties, and minor general maintenance.
R esponsible for area housekeeping.
Participate in the process es of continuous improvement including efforts to meet company smart goals.
Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization’s goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Work is performed in an uncontrolled atmosphere . Exposure to harsh conditions—such as : dust , fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and v arying weather and temperatures . Potential exposure to jobsites both domestically and internationally; living accommodations in some foreign assignments may not meet expected U.S. standards .
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

While performing the duties of t his position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, lift, push, pull, use hands and finger s , grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms ; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl ; and talk and hear . Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 pounds occasionally, 35 pounds frequently , and 10 pounds constantly. Must be able to stand 9 0% of the time and walk 1 0% of the time.
S KILL / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required .
One ( 1 ) -Two (2) years of electrical experience is preferred .
Ability to read blue prints , line and schematic drawings is required .
High Voltage AC and Low Voltage DS experience is required .
High attention to detail.
Must work well under pressure.
Strong math skills are required .
Experience with hand held tools and assembling parts is required .
M ust possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of person nel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
Ability to work flexible hours including, but not limited to, frequent and mandatory overtime, weekends, and some holidays are required.
