About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team. This is not an entry-level position—we are looking for someone who can lead by example, take charge of project execution, and bring expertise in commercial construction and electrical systems. You will play a critical role in installing cutting-edge control systems in commercial buildings, schools, and municipal facilities across Arizona.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of control wiring and control components, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.
- Install, and troubleshoot low-voltage control systems, including, but not limited to, HVAC controls, lighting, cameras, and access control systems.
- Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and NEC codes to meet compliance and design requirements.
- Collaborate with construction and technical teams to meet client expectations and project goals.
- Train and mentor junior installers to build a highly skilled team.
- Conduct site assessments to identify and resolve potential challenges proactively.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5 years of commercial construction experience, with at least 5 years focused on electrical or low-voltage controls (e.g., HVAC systems).
- In-depth understanding of electrical safety protocols and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Must have extensive understanding of relays, contactors, starters and other electrical components.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage project timelines, and deliver high-quality results.
- Expertise in conduit installation, wiring termination, and controller/device configuration.
- Physical capability to work in challenging environments (e.g., extreme heat, confined spaces, working off ladders for extended periods, etc).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with both low- and high-voltage electrical systems.
- Expertise in bending and installing conduit.
- Experience installing and setting up variable frequency drives.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC, lighting, cameras, and access control systems.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
