As the Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator, Front Office, you will perform general front desk functions in support of the care and treatment of patients while providing assistance to all office personnel as needed.
Patient Care Coordinator Qualifications/Skills:
- Language & Communication Skills: Fluent bilingual capabilities in Spanish and English, with excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience & Technical Skills: 1-2 years of front/back office experience preferred; proficiency with medical equipment and office technology.
- Physical & Teamwork Abilities: Ability to multi-task, lift/move up to 50 pounds, and maintain a positive, cooperative work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities as a Front Office Patient Care Coordinator:
- Patient Interaction & Scheduling: Perform front office tasks, including check-in/out, prescription refills, procedure scheduling, and patient education.
- Clinical Support & Documentation: Conduct patient interviews, record vital signs, update medication lists, and notify physicians of clinical status changes.
- Administrative & Clerical Tasks: Handle mail, reports, filing, scanning, data input, phone support, and general office assistance.
- Records & Compliance Management: Process hospital disposition reports, recall reports, dictation logs, and medical record requests while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Office & Inventory Maintenance: Manage office and medical supplies, maintain equipment, and assist in the annual patient chart purging process.
