At Arka Montessori, we are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and proactive individual who can work as Director for our prestigious school in Princeton .
We need a committed person who can make a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while effectively and efficiently help run the School operations by working hand in hand with the existing leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for the day to day operation of the school, ensuring that the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
- Develop imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day. You will be responsible for ensuring an educational, caring, and safe environment for the children and parents.
- Promote the positive image of the company and play a major role in making the company a provider of choice in educational programs for the communities that we serve.
- Develop and maintain positive relations with children and families. Model relationship-building skills in all interactions and provide written and verbal communication with families and school. Resolve challenging student/parent issues
- Responsible for administrative work including maintaining children’s and personnel records up-to-date.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule, and direct personnel and volunteers as needed.
- Review and evaluate staff performance. Develop strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.
- Responsible for covering Staff breaks and working in the classroom in the teacher’s absence.
- Assure compliance with state and local regulations as they relate to the school.
