We are seeking a passionate Theatre Instructor with a strong emphasis on drama to join our team. Candidates should have a strong theatre background, and extensive experience working with children. A Bachelor's in Theatre is preferred, but comparable experience is accepted. Class ages range from 4yrs to teen.
Anticipated Hiring Range: $25-$40/Hr. DOQ

JOB SPECIFIC INFORMATION
- Develops lesson plans, prepares materials, and ensures high-quality instruction to meet program objectives.
- Welcomes participants, takes attendance, fosters a supportive and inclusive environment, and guides participants in completing objectives.
- Maintains a clean, organized workspace and manages materials and equipment setup and cleanup for each class.
- Communicates with participants and the Cultural Arts Supervisor regarding progress, safety, incidents, and program updates.
- Ensures participant safety, complies with District policies, and completes necessary reports for incidents or accidents.
- Attends staff meetings and collaborates with the Cultural Arts Supervisor to develop program content and ensure operational success.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS in Theatre, or closely related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum three to five years’ experience in theatre instruction preferred
- Or, any equivalent combination of education, experience and training
- CPR and AED Certification preferred
