Theater Instructor:
A Theater Instructor is responsible for championing an excellent and engaging classroom that delivers a boomerang experience for the student and family. This role is responsible for detailed preparation, goal setting, event knowledge, production participation, and prompt communication.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver curriculum and instruction to students with purpose, passion, a willingness to do “whatever it takes” to help students succeed, while keeping students’ safety at the forefront
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective whole group practices, small group team building, and individualized learning activities
- Enforce classroom dress code and other rules
- Take attendance and start and end class on time, every time
- Come to class prepared with lesson plans prepared, organized, music selected, etc
- Track data when asked to determine the effectiveness of classroom instruction
- Discuss, celebrate, and reinforce the company’s core values
- Implement company-wide behavior management consistently with all students
- Be accountable for students’ mastery of class curriculum and individual goals
- Embrace feedback and constructive criticism in the spirit of constant improvement
