Responsible for the daily operations of a single manufacturing site overseeing employees, production, warehousing and efficiencies. Responsible for driving productivity, engineering, maintenance, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Responsible for all production activities within the plant
· Supports and leads shift supervisors
· Directs and coordinates shift operations of manufacturing activities
· Delivers quality products and services on time to achieve business objectives within established budget
· Responsible for site safety. Ensuring compliance with all OSHA, Environmental, and all City, State and US regulations
· Responsible for performance monitoring and review, personnel accountability, hourly personnel time and attendance and disciplinary action
· Coordinates with Maintenance to ensure optimized equipment uptime
· Works with cross functional production teams proactively to identify, communicate, and resolve potential operating issues that may impact production
· Aligns manpower as necessary to achieve business needs
· Addresses urgent actions identified during Gemba walks or in other ways such as: safety, cleanliness, and proper operation techniques
· Work requires greater than 30% floor time and 70% administrative tasks
· Actively drives continuous improvement & leads lean events to drive productivity
· Additional hours may be required to deliver company targets and demand
· Oversees and participates in the recruitment, hiring, and training of manufacturing employees.
· Oversees schedules and assignments.
Other Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Oversees the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
· Reviews production reports to ensure safety, quality, productivity, financial and delivery goals and standards are met.
· Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with federal and state regulations, through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff.
· Assists VP, Global Manufacturing with long-range operating goals, expansion efforts, and implementation of new and advanced technology.
· Identifies and shares training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills.
· Organizes departmental management structure and teams for optimal, efficient operations.
· Works with finance to develop operating budget.
· Delivers progress and production reports to executive team members as requested.
· Supervises equipment purchase, maintenance, and layout.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
