Position Summary
An Armstrong Technical Support Representative supports our ZOOM Cable Internet and Armstrong Telephone services. Communicating effectively with customers is of utmost importance. Strong computer skills are necessary for success in supporting a wide variety of services and consumer devices.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Mastery of basic Technical Support Representative responsibilities
- Proficient handling and resolution of advanced product inquires (internet and our telephone products) including wired and wireless networks over the telephone
- Support email platforms including webmail, mobile devices and software clients
- Advanced field technical support and efficient Dispatch interactions
- Ability to analyze and communicate consumer bandwidth needs
- Commercial/business troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve wireless and Zoom/EXP connectivity issues
- Promote sales by explaining available services
- Other functions that may be assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- Current Technical Support Representative or equivalent experience
- Must be in good standing and have proven reliability
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; Certifications or degrees preferred
- Must have the ability to work flexible afternoon/evening weekday and/or weekend shifts
- Demonstrated knowledge of policies, products, and procedures
- Must have superior performance measurements
