AMHC is excited to announce our new Adult BHH Peer Support Specialist Position in the Caribou area. This is a Full-Time position that will be responsible for providing peer support services to members of the community. The Peer Support Specialist will demonstrate recovery-based values assist in recovery goal planning and offer peer support activities and interventions to foster engagement and help build recovery skills. The chosen candidate must be willing to obtain the Intentional Peer Support Specialist Certification within the required timeframes and demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members.
Qualifications:
- A high School Diploma is required
- Must be receiving or have received services
- Must be willing to self-identify
- Must have a Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
