Job Details Description
Overall Responsibility : At the direction of the BIM Practice Lead, the BIM Coordinator will focus solely on clash detection, clash resolution and model compliance / integrity for all Arora project Revit models. The BIM Coordinator will also hold clash resolution meetings with the design team at regular
intervals throughout the design stage of the project schedule.
Essential Functions :
- Create an independent 3D view in the project discipline model for the sole purpose of exporting a .nwc file for use in Navisworks (this process can be automated in Ideate).
- Using Navisworks, create an inter-disciplinary clash report to share with the project manager and design team members.
- Hold regular clash meetings with the design team to discuss the resolution of clashes for all MEP (both internally and with architectural and structural models).
