What are the responsibilities and job description for the Securitized Credit: Junior Analyst position at ArrowMark Partners?
ArrowMark Partners is seeking a Junior Analyst to play a key role in the securitized credit team. This role is expected to progress into a credit analyst role, over time. The areas of focus include Asset-Backed Securities, Regulatory Capital Relief Securities, and Collateralized Loan Obligations. This in an in-office role located in Denver, Colorado.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with analysts and portfolio managers to organize and manage data and information requests relating to the investment process, bond analysis, and issuer review.
- Monitor and track portfolios consisting of various types of securitized credit securities.
- Support database management and monthly reporting processes.
- Develop knowledge of credit analysis and structural features on a fundamental basis.
- Partner with operations and data teams to ensure prompt responses to information requests.
- Willingness to learn new skills, financial products, and add fresh perspective to existing processes
Required Education / Certifications, Experience, Competencies & Skills:
- Highly proficient in Excel; Bloomberg, Intex, and other industry tools a plus
- 1-3 years of professional; experience in securitized credit / fixed income a plus
- Quantitative skills & coding experience r (ex. SQL, Python, R, VBA)
- Proven ability to collaborate as part of a team
- Bachelor’s Degree required, CAIA and/or CFA a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Independently initiates and leads initiatives

Compensation1 and Benefits:
- The base salary range for this position is approximated to be $70,000 – $110,000 USD. Actual pay will be based on the skills and experience of each candidate
- Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award. Individual bonuses are determined based on individual, team, and company performance
