Art’s Rental Equipment is currently accepting applications for a Dispatcher. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the routes of semi-trucks, rollbacks, and 1-ton trucks carrying construction equipment to various locations in our service region. You will communicate with drivers, customers, and staff at rental locations to ensure timely deliveries and efficient routing. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records and assist with other transportation-related tasks as needed.
Dispatcher Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch a variety of trucks to deliver and pick up construction equipment.
- Communicate with drivers to provide route details, schedules, and updates.
- Coordinate with rental locations and customers to ensure efficient deliveries.
- Track and maintain records of all dispatched loads.
- Address delays, issues and coordinate last-minute changes in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with other transportation and logistics duties as assigned by the Dispatch Manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dispatching, transportation logistics, or a related field required.
- Strong Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly to changing schedules.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy for scheduling and record-keeping.
- Familiarity with construction equipment and heavy hauling is preferred.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
