Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives and drive business growth within the staffing industry. This role is responsible for generating new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and ensuring our staffing solutions meet the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B sales, relationship management, and a deep understanding of staffing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and relationship building.
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in industries that require staffing services.
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to present staffing solutions tailored to client needs.
- Maintain a pipeline of potential clients and follow up consistently to close deals.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and expansion of services.
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the recruiting team to align client needs with qualified candidates.
- Strategic Planning & Market Growth:
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Collaborate with leadership to set and achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
- Operational Coordination:
- Partner with recruiters to ensure seamless delivery of staffing solutions.
- Assist in contract negotiations and ensure all agreements are aligned with company policies.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates on progress toward goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the staffing or recruiting industry.
- Strong B2B sales skills with the ability to close deals and drive revenue.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling temporary, temp-to-hire, or direct-hire staffing solutions.
- Established network in industries such as manufacturing, construction, logistics, or professional services.
- Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.
