Job Description: Logistics Coordinator
The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods to our customers. This includes planning the movement of goods daily/weekly, scheduling deliveries and pickups, and communicating with various departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery/receipt of goods.
The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and supply chain management, as well as proficiency in relevant technical tools and software. They will be able to analyze complex situations, interpret data, and identify key insights to inform decision-making.
- Plan and coordinate the movement of goods daily/weekly
- Schedule deliveries and pickups for a refrigerated food manufacturer
- Communicate with Customer Service, Procurement, and Warehousing to ensure timely and accurate delivery/receipt of goods
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the best possible outcome for customer deliveries
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience in logistics and supply chain management (2 years)
- Proficiency in logistic software and technologies (2 years)
- Ability to analyze complex situations, interpret data, and identify key insights to inform decision-making
