Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Stone Countertop Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a deep understanding of stone materials, a passion for design, and a proven track record in B2C or B2B sales. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and contributing to our company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Engagement: Work closely with contractors and designers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate stone fabrication solutions.
- Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction at every step.
- Quoting and Negotiation: Provide accurate quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure clarity in contracts and project timelines.
- Product Expertise: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of stone types, fabrication processes, and installation methods to provide expert advice.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product innovations.
- Collaboration: Partner with our fabrication and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Business Development: Build and grow a robust book of business by establishing connections with new clients and cultivating relationships within the local market.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales, preferably in the stone, construction, or home improvement industry.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with stone materials (granite, marble, quartz, etc.), and the fabrication/installation process is highly preferred.
- Technology: Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Market Presence: Established presence and connections within the local market, with a proven ability to network and build relationships.
- Personality: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Education: High school diploma required; a degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is a bonus.
