About ArtLab J
Founded in 2012 by Artistic Director Joori Jung, ArtLab J, as a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, develops a robust set of programming under its three core branches— Dance, Lab and Education— all of which function to advance the dance arts and connect people. Using the power of dance to not only bare our life stories but bridge them, ArtLab J unites persons across divides of race, age, sex, class, gender, religion, status and experience.

```Duties```
- Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities and events
- Plan, organize, and lead age-appropriate and arts related games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development
- Assist with meal times, including monitoring dietary restrictions and allergies
- Collaborate with other camp staff to create a positive and inclusive camp environment
```Qualifications```
- Must have a Dance, Music and/or Art background
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage behavior and maintain discipline
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Over the summer, participants will engage in work at ArtLab J's Summer Dance/Art/Music camp held at two studio locations. Applicants have the choice of which location they would like to work at: Detroit and/or Troy. Responsibilities will include planning camp activities, working summer camp and taking photos. Position begins June 10 through August 23, 2024
