Position Overview:
As a Rehabilitation Specialist, in our Fresh Start Program you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive culture and quality of life for the members of Arundel Lodge. Your primary responsibility will be to support individuals in their recovery journeys from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use challenges.
Position Hours Available: Monday - Friday 1 pm - 9 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide transportation for clients as needed.
- Assist with money management, appointment scheduling, and dietary coaching.
- Support daily living activities (ADLs) and teach essential life skills.
- Facilitate shopping and cleaning tasks to promote independence.
- Engage clients in their recovery process and offer compassionate support.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor of Arts degree in a human services field preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in mental health or psychosocial rehabilitation, or a combination of education and experience that meets these requirements.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
