SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant 2 provides clerical services including the preparation of correspondence in final form, directing visitors and callers, maintaining departmental files and records, and producing reports. The Administrative Assistant 2 acts as a liaison to customers and other departmental associates. The incumbent will be required to maintain confidentiality and professionally interact with management, associates, customers and the public. In addition, the incumbent maintains confidential customer and department records. The Administrative Assistant 2 may also have primary responsibility for the preparation of reports that are submitted to the various department committees and may serve as secretary of formal committees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform duties of Administrative Assistant 1 as necessary.
- Act for and on behalf of management on many matters that do not require their direct participation.
- Collaborate with department associates to ensure departmental work is accurate and projects a professional image.
- Establish and maintain personal and confidential business files in an efficient and accurate manner. This includes but not limited to maintenance of department policy and procedures manual and reconciliation of various accounts.
- Make appointments and schedule meetings for department. Maintain supervisor/department's calendar. As directed, answer phones for other department associates.
- Assist with research and data compilation to be used in presentations.
- Assist with compilation and distribution of agenda items for recurring meetings.
- With some oversight and direction, coordinate logistics and plan for management, committee, board and other meetings/events.
- Assist customers and visitors as needed (such as assisting with building or safe deposit box access, sign-in and other requests, etc.) ensuring all security measures are followed.
- Provide training to Administrative Assistant 1 associates as needed.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
- Support and uphold the Arvest Mission Statement.
- Uphold the Arvest Code of Ethics and ensure that confidential information is safeguarded.
- Maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with all associates in order to ensure accurate and efficient operations and service.

- 2 years of administrative /clerical office experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Proven ability to multitask required.
- Arvest experience preferred.
- Associates degree preferred.
