Arizona Regional Human Resources Generalist
Primary Responsibilities :
The Regional Human Resources Generalist is expected to :
Protect the legal, financial and moral wellbeing of the dealershipEducate and maintain all applicable company procedures, policies and benefitsStay current on state and federal employment and wage and hour laws and recommend policy adjustments as necessaryBe a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successfulSeek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer serviceReports to : Arizona Regional Human Resources Manager
Primary Duties :
Must maintain current knowledge of Federal and State employment and wage and hour laws to work collaboratively with onsite Team Leaders to educate and ensure compliance within storesWork regularly with store onsite store management to educate and instill human resources best practices : Recruitment OnboardingWork as a team with store management to focus on high turnover departments to evaluate hiring practicesHelp stores to facilitate regular benefit education to employeesWork as a collaborative team with the Regional HR Manager and Operations Management to conduct thorough employee relations (ER) investigationsAssist Larry H. Miller Automotive Group HR department with various research projects and / or special projectsPerforms other related duties as required and assignedOperate with integrity :
Demand the highest ethical standards from yourself and othersSet an example of positive attitude and professionalismCommunicate and help resolve complaintsMaintain confidentiality in all employee and company related issuesQualifications :
High school diploma or the equivalent4 years human resources experience; SHRM or HRCI certification preferred but not required.4 years’ experience of conducting employee relations (ER) investigationsProficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordHigh level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentationGood organizational and multi-tasking skills; detail orientedExcellent spelling and grammar skillsPublic speaking experiencePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Work performed in an office and occasional dealership settingsRegularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilitiesAbility to travel up to 50% annuallyMust maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Record within company policy requirementsTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
