About the Role
Job Title: Full Stack Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend components, focusing on SQL Server and Python (60-70%).
- Contribute to full-stack development using .NET Core, Web API, and SOA (30-40%).
- Create framework components to standardize coding patterns and ensure reusability.
- Support and troubleshoot production environments, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
- Design, analyze, optimize, and maintain SQL Server tables, stored procedures, indexes, and triggers.
- Monitor and analyze existing data processes, recommending improvements for performance optimization.
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of automation tools.
- Participate in unit and integration testing efforts to ensure high code quality and coverage.
- Work with business analysts to gather requirements and develop technical specifications.
- Engage in code review activities, including group reviews and individual pull-request reviews.
- Assist client leads with planning, design, development, and release action plans.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in software development.
- Microsoft .NET Technology stack, including .NET Core, Web API, SOA, and Microservices.
- Advanced SQL Server expertise, including scripting, optimization, and database management.
- Entity Framework & LINQ for data access and manipulation.
- PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Unit Testing & Continuous Integration to ensure code quality.
- Design patterns implementation for scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Jira on Cloud for issue tracking and Agile collaboration.
- Azure DevOps for CI/CD and development lifecycle management.
- GitHub CoPilot for AI-assisted coding.
- Frontend Technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
- Intermediate Python proficiency for backend scripting and automation.
Desired Qualifications:
- Kafka for real-time event streaming.
- Angular for frontend development (future transition planned).
- Control-M or similar scheduling tools for job automation.
- Experience in the Financial Services domain.
- Auto-Finance Servicing experience for domain-specific insights.
Location: Dallas, TX
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $125,000 – $135,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
