Branch Manager – Vice President Level
As the Branch Manager at the VP level, you’ll take charge of branch operations with support from the Operations Officer, focusing on business development, lending, and deposit growth. You’ll provide guidance to Relationship Managers, helping them manage and grow their loan portfolios, while also building your own client relationships. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on client engagement to drive branch profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead lending and deposit initiatives to grow revenue through new and existing client relationships.
- Promote and sell financial products, maintaining a strong service loan portfolio.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions.
- Monitor and manage branch profitability, expenses, and minimize losses.
- Foster a high-performance culture by training, mentoring, and motivating branch staff.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, CIP, and BSA/AML regulations.
- Maintain a focus on excellent customer service and continuous team development.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 3 years of banking experience in sales and lending; or an Associate’s degree with 5 years of related experience and an established banking portfolio.
- Proven supervisory and leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of internal banking operations and products.
- Ability to travel locally for client visits and business development.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
