HR Generalist/Payroll Specialist: Available for Immediate Start!
The Payroll Specialist/HR Generalist will be responsible for managing the full-cycle payroll process and administering employee benefits for all staff across our two warehouse facilities. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of payroll systems, labor laws, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will also assist with HR generalist duties including onboarding, compliance, and employee support.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management
- Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 130 employees accurately and on time
- Maintain payroll records, timesheets, and employee data within the payroll system
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll inquiries
Benefits Administration
- Administer health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and other employee benefits
- Manage benefits enrollments, terminations, and qualifying life events
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee benefits questions and vendor coordination
- Coordinate open enrollment and support employees with benefits education
HR Support
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS
- Support compliance with employment laws and internal policies
- Partner with managers and employees to address basic HR inquiries
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration, ideally in a multi-location environment preferred
- Proficiency with payroll and HRIS platforms (ADP, Paylocity, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and employee benefit programs
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
