Job Title : Claims Customer Service Representative
Location : On-Site / Remote (if applicable)
Schedule : Full-Time, Monday - Friday
Compensation : Competitive, Based on Experience
About the Role :
We are seeking a Claims Customer Service Representative to handle incoming claim calls, process warranty claims, and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in claim processing, problem-solving, and customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities :
Handle incoming claim calls using the Web Warranty / Web Claim Program
Assist customers with service-related inquiries or transfer calls to the appropriate department
Underwrite and approve claims, issue authorizations, or send denial letters
Follow up with Service Centers to collect necessary claim information
Process Extended Service Contract (ESC) Resend Requests
Run daily reports, including voicemail and web claims tracking
Send cleaning products to customers when required
Participate in special projects, reports, and documentation as assigned
Required Skills & Competencies :
Basic knowledge of claims processing, customer service, or warranty programs
Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
Excellent verbal and written communication, including professional phone etiquette
Ability to multitask efficiently (phone, computer, and documents / reference materials)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access)
Typing speed of at least 50 WPM
Strong email and internet skills
Customer-focused with the ability to analyze and resolve inquiries effectively
