Brown & Brown is seeking a Claims Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Jacksonville, Florida!
The Claims Customer Service Representative provides support to our Producers and Account Managers by obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and serving our commercial lines accounts.
How You Will Contribute:
- Establishes & ensures adherence to best practices, procedures, and claims strategies.
- Support clients in developing or improving claim reporting processes.
- Provide consistent claims service experience.
- Ensure appropriate claims reserves are set.
- Review and analyze all claims with potential exposure to high losses.
- Provide analysis of major loss trends, emerging claims issues, and or litigation trends.
- Develop quality control standards.
- Track department productivity.
- Adherence to department budget.
- Work closely with the client’s claims manager.
- Coordinate with the Risk Management team to drive improvements in both claims frequency and severity for the client.
- Review and advise on workers' compensation experience mods.
- Support sales team on new business initiatives.
- All other duties as assigned.
Licenses & Certifications:
- 4-40 Customer Representative License (preferred) or the ability to obtain one
- 6-20 Adjuster License (preferred) or the ability to obtain one
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
- 5 Years Previous Experience in Property & Casualty claims management.
- Strong technical insurance knowledge and background.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills under stressful situations.
- Strong team member who proactively assists all other members of this team.
- Ability to maintain a professional manner at all times.
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.
- Advanced time management and organization skills.
