Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Personal Injury Attorney on behalf of our esteemed client firm located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling bodily injury cases, particularly with a focus on Personal Injury Protection (PIP), and possess a minimum of 7years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Legal Representation: Provide effective legal representation for clients involved in personal injury cases, with a specific emphasis on bodily injury and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) matters.
- Case Management:Manage and oversee a caseload of personal injury cases, ensuring timely and accurate progression through various stages of litigation.
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents applicable to personal injury and PIP cases
- Client Interaction:Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases and addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have.
- Court Appearances: Attend court hearings, trials, and mediations as necessary, representing clients with a high level of professionalism and legal expertise.
- Negotiations:Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Documentation: Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Collaboration:Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm to leverage collective knowledge and resources for the benefit of clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) Degree:Successful completion of an accredited law school.
- Bar Admission: Active membership in the Florida State Bar.
- Experience:*Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in handling personal injury cases, with a focus on bodily injury and PIP matters.
- Litigation Skills: Proven track record of successful litigation, including court appearances and trials.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
